Demand Hack · AI Readiness

The AI Readiness Audit: know what to build before you burn a credit.

Most AI projects in marketing and sales do not fail on the model, they fail on everything around it: dirty CRM data, no owner, and the wrong first agent. This hack scores your readiness across four pillars, then turns the score into a build roadmap. Score yourself free with the scorecard, or have us run the audit with you and leave with a ranked agent plan.

Where AI projects actually die_

The model is almost never the problem. These six things are.

Dirty data underneath

An agent trained on a portal full of duplicates and lifecycle drift automates the mess faster. Data readiness is pillar one for a reason.

No owner

AI bought by leadership, deployed by nobody. Without a named owner and a review loop, agents drift within weeks of launch.

The wrong first agent

Teams start with the flashiest use case instead of the highest-ROI one. The first build should be boring, measurable, and close to revenue.

Credits burned on tests

Platform credits (like Breeze credits in HubSpot) get spent on experiments with no plan. A budget model per agent stops the bleed.

No guardrails

No escalation rules, no tone constraints, no failure plan. One bad customer interaction and the whole program gets shelved.

Native vs custom confusion

Building custom what the platform does natively, or forcing native tools past their limits. The right split saves months.

Our approach_

01

Score against evidence_

We run the 12 statements with your team in a working session, and every score needs proof: show us the report, the owner, the process doc. You leave with an honest 0-36 score across data, process, people, and stack, not a self-graded pat on the back.

02

Map the stack and the gaps_

We inventory your CRM, data sources, and integrations, then draw the native-versus-custom line: what your platform’s built-in AI should own, what deserves a custom agent, and what needs fixing before either will work.

03

Roadmap ranked by ROI_

You get a ranked agent roadmap with a business case per build, a fix-first plan for blockers, a credit and cost budget per agent, and a 30-day pilot plan for the first one. If you build with us, the audit fee is credited toward that build.

Pricing_

Fixed price, fixed scope. The audit fee is credited toward your first agent build with us.

AI Readiness Audit, answered_

How much does the AI Readiness Audit cost?

Scoring yourself is free with the AI-Readiness Scorecard. The guided audit is $1,500 one-time, fixed scope, and the fee is credited toward your first agent build with us. Agent builds are scoped from the roadmap and start around $6,500.

What do the four pillars cover?

Data (is your CRM clean enough to automate), process (are the workflows an agent would run actually documented), people (is there an owner and a review loop), and stack (do your tools and integrations support what you want to build). Twelve statements total, each scored 0-3.

What if our score comes back low?

That is the audit working. A low score with a fix-first plan is far cheaper than a failed agent launch. Data fixes usually route through our RevOps Cleanup, and you re-score in weeks, not quarters.

Do we need HubSpot for this?

No. The scorecard and the four pillars apply to any CRM and stack. We are deepest in HubSpot (including Breeze agents and credit budgeting) as a partner, but the audit maps native-versus-custom for whatever platform you run.

How long does the guided audit take?

About a week: a working session to score with evidence, a few days for us to map the stack and build the roadmap, then a readout where your team leaves with the ranked plan, budgets, and the 30-day pilot plan for build one.
