THE PLAY / FOR A B2B AI AGENT AND HUBSPOT SERVICES FIRM
Trigger
Enrolls by automation rule almost instantly when a known contact views a free resource page, the workshop page, a webinar service page or an agent service page, or submits one of two named forms. Page-view rules fire only for contacts HubSpot already knows, and exclusion segments apply.
Audience
Marketing and demand generation leaders who run HubSpot, webinar or field marketing owners, and founders or go-to-market leaders exploring AI agents. All are known contacts already in the CRM at B2B companies.
Signals the agent reads
- Page view: free starter pack, free blueprint, workshop, webinar service or agent service pages
- Form submitted: free starter pack request
- Form submitted: workshop seat sign-up
- Company properties used as light context only: webinar use, webinar platform, blog status and HubSpot use
Selling angle
A visitor who just read a specific page is at the peak of interest, so the reply should match that exact page with one offer it earned. Buyers evaluating AI agents want to see how an agent maps to their own CRM fields, personas and signals before they commit. A live build or a free starter pack shows that without a sales conversation. The offer stays concrete and tied to the visit.
Outreach approach
Five touches, at least one day apart, each with a different angle. Touch 1 goes out the same day with the matching offer and two proposed call times. Touch 2 describes what the contact will see concretely, such as the workshop build or the pack fields. Touch 3 gives one proof point from the research only. Touch 4 offers a fallback free resource, and touch 5 is a short close-the-loop note asking for a yes or no and saying it is the last note. Any reply, unsubscribe, bounce or booked call stops the outreach.
- 01 / DAY 1Matching offerNames the page or form the contact used in plain words, gives the one offer that page earned with its single link, and proposes two named days for a 30-minute call. Offers the self-serve scheduling page in words only.
- 02 / DAY 2What you will seeDescribes concretely what the contact gets from the offer, such as the steps of a live build or the sections of the starter pack. Points to the scheduling page in words.
- 03 / DAY 3Proof pointShares one proof point taken only from the research, such as the number of agent builds shipped or the number of webinars produced. Asks one direct question about the call.
- 04 / DAY 4Fallback offerOffers the free workshop or the free blueprint as a lower-commitment next step, using its single link, and asks for one direct reply.
- 05 / DAY 5Close the loopA short note asking for a yes or no and saying this is the last note. Ends the outreach cleanly.
Advanced instructions (excerpt)
You write for [Company], a B2B team of senior operators who design and build AI agents, websites, webinar systems and growth programs on HubSpot or custom. Write as one operator to a peer who just looked at something specific. Read the contact and company records before writing. If the contact is an existing client, an employee or partner of the platform, a competitor, located in the EU or UK, or has an open deal, write nothing. If an earlier thread went quiet, acknowledge it in one clause without restating it. If the record holds only this visit or form, write a first approach with no invented history. If you cannot tell which page or form triggered enrollment, write nothing. Name the page or form the contact used in plain words. Include one offer from the offer list, with its one link, and one direct ask in the same breath. Ask for a 30-minute call and propose two named days. Keep the first email between 120 and 180 words, in short plain-text paragraphs with one question and one link. Later touches run 70 to 120 words. Use plain operator English, short sentences, no exclamation marks, no emoji and no hype words. Never invent statistics, names, quotes or URLs. Never mention prices or discounts.

SUBJECT Your starter pack, mapped to your CRM
Hi [First name], You picked up the starter pack this week, so you have seen how an AI agent maps to your own CRM fields. The pack covers the play, the buying signals, the personas and the guardrails, written for how your team sells. If you want to watch one built first, the free live build on [date] at [time] CT runs a HubSpot prospecting agent end to end in 60 minutes. Everyone who registers gets the recording and the setup checklist. We have a few build slots left this month if you would rather have us set one up in your portal. Would [Day, date] at [time] CT or [Day, date] at [time] CT work for a 30-minute call? You can also grab a time that works for you on our Contact page. Thanks,
Guardrails
- Never write to contacts in the EU or UK, employees or partners of the platform, existing clients, competitors or anyone emailed in the last 90 days.
- Never write when the triggering page or form cannot be identified.
- Never add an offer that the visit or form did not earn.
- Never invent statistics, customer names, quotes or links beyond those in the offer list.
- Never state prices, discounts or deadlines that are not part of the play.
- Never send a second link in touch 1 beyond the single offer link.
Setup in HubSpot
- Create an automation rule in Manage, Automations, triggered by page views on the selected free resource, workshop, webinar service and agent service pages.
- Add a second trigger for form submissions on the starter pack request form and the workshop seat form, with the form connection confirmed at install.
- Add exclusion segments for existing clients, employees, partners, competitors, EU and UK contacts, and anyone emailed in the last 90 days.
- Set the method to Adaptive, set sending to Send without review, and set the sender to the founder.
- Set the send window to business days, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, and launch the play together with the other plays.
KPIs
- Booked 30-minute calls from known visitors and form submitters, reviewed weekly.
- Reply rate on the five-touch outreach, reviewed weekly.
- Bounce rate, kept under 3 percent, reviewed weekly.

Good questions.
Straight answers.
Why does this play send no cold outreach?
The visit or form is the buying signal, so the play only answers contacts who already showed intent. Cold outreach belongs in a separate targeted play.
What happens if a contact visits two pages?
The rule uses the page or form that best matches the offer the contact earned. The email names that page or form so the contact sees a clear reason for the message.
Why is the minimum gap only one day?
Intent is highest right after a visit, so inbound follow-up plays use a shorter gap than re-engagement or outbound plays.
