Seamless Powers HubSpot Prospecting Agent | Hacking Demand

Written by Charles Summers | Jul 3, 2026 12:06:11 PM

As of July 1, 2026, HubSpot's Breeze Prospecting Agent can source net-new contacts through Seamless, directly inside the agent workflow. That closes the agent's biggest practical gap. Until now it could only work the contacts already sitting in your CRM. Now it can find the missing decision-makers at accounts you already care about, then enroll them in outreach without anyone leaving HubSpot.

Here is what actually changed, what it costs, and how to use it without torching your deliverability or your credit budget.

What exactly changed?

Seamless announced the integration on July 1, 2026. The short version:

  • Prospecting Agent can now pull net-new contacts from Seamless when a target account exists in HubSpot but the right people do not.
  • Sourced contacts can be enrolled straight into agent-led outreach, with messaging personalized from your HubSpot CRM context.
  • You connect it under Sales > Prospecting Agent > Integrations. It uses OAuth, and Seamless data is isolated so it does not flow into HubSpot's commercial dataset.
  • It is live in the Prospecting Agent beta contact sourcing flow, and HubSpot Credits are required.

This lands in a year where HubSpot has been pushing hard on agents across the platform, from Breeze Customer Agent to the spring 2026 wave of AEO and agent updates. The direction is clear: HubSpot wants the prospecting loop, from signal to send, happening inside its walls.

Why does this matter for demand gen teams?

Because "right account, no contacts" is where most signal-based outbound quietly dies. Your intent tool flags an account, your rep opens the CRM, finds one stale contact from 2023, and the play stalls. With two-thirds of B2B buying committees now at six or more stakeholders, covering one champion per account was never going to be enough anyway.

Contact sourcing inside the agent means the gap between "this account is showing signals" and "the right three people got a relevant message" shrinks from days to minutes. For lean teams running founder-led or one-rep outbound, that is the whole game.

What should you watch before leaning on it?

  • It is a beta. Expect rough edges in matching, persona filters, and enrollment behavior. Spot-check before you scale.
  • Credits are a real cost. Contact sourcing burns HubSpot Credits. Set a monthly cap and watch it weekly, because agent-driven consumption creeps in ways manual prospecting never did.
  • One data source is not coverage. Seamless is strong in some segments and thin in others, like every data vendor. Keep a second source for verification and fill.
  • Deliverability is still your problem. The agent will happily email unverified addresses. Bounce rates over 2 to 3 percent will wreck your domain reputation no matter who sourced the contact.

How do you put it to work this week?

  1. Connect it. Sales > Prospecting Agent > Integrations > Seamless > Connect. You need the beta contact sourcing flow enabled.
  2. Define 2 to 3 tight personas per play. The agent is only as good as the persona brief you give it. "VP or Director of Demand Gen at 50 to 500 person B2B SaaS" beats "marketing leaders."
  3. Start with signal accounts only. Point it at accounts showing real intent (site visits, feature-page views, hiring signals), not your whole TAM. Fewer sends, better replies, less credit burn.
  4. Verify before you send. Run sourced emails through a validation step. Cross-check against a tool like Apollo or UpLead before enrollment.
  5. Measure reply quality, not volume. Agent-sourced outbound makes it trivially easy to send more. The metric that matters is qualified replies per 100 contacts sourced.

Frequently asked questions

What is HubSpot's Breeze Prospecting Agent?

It is HubSpot's AI agent that researches target accounts, drafts personalized outreach, and manages follow-up inside HubSpot Sales. With the July 2026 Seamless integration, it can now also source net-new contacts at target accounts instead of working only from contacts already in your CRM.

Does the Seamless integration cost extra?

Contact sourcing through the integration requires HubSpot Credits, HubSpot's usage-based currency for AI features, on top of your existing Seamless and HubSpot subscriptions. Budget for credit consumption and set caps before you turn the agent loose.

Does Seamless data get shared with HubSpot?

Per the announcement, the integration is built with data isolation so Seamless data stays separated and is blocked from entering HubSpot's commercial dataset. Your sourced contacts land in your portal for your use.
