What Is HubSpot Breeze? Agents & Pricing | Hacking Demand

Written by Charles Summers | Jul 20, 2026 3:49:20 AM

HubSpot Breeze is HubSpot's built-in AI layer: a conversational assistant, a set of autonomous agents, embedded AI features, and data enrichment, all metered through one currency called HubSpot Credits. Some credits come bundled with your subscription. The two flagship agents charge per outcome: $0.50 per conversation the Customer Agent resolves and $1.00 per lead the Prospecting Agent recommends for outreach. Here is what each piece does, what it costs, and how to roll it out without burning credits.

What does HubSpot Breeze include?

As of mid-2026, Breeze covers five things:

  • Breeze Assistant (formerly Breeze Copilot): the chat interface that summarizes records, drafts content, and runs tasks across HubSpot, including a mobile app.
  • Breeze Agents: autonomous workers. The flagship three are the Customer Agent, the Prospecting Agent, and the Data Agent.
  • Breeze Studio: the admin control center where you build custom assistants and agents, manage knowledge vaults, and watch usage on the Breeze dashboard.
  • Embedded AI features: content remix, personalization, record summaries, and AI workflow actions scattered through every Hub.
  • Data enrichment: the feature formerly branded Breeze Intelligence. HubSpot is retiring that name; enrichment, buyer intent, and smart properties live on, and standard record enrichment no longer consumes credits on paid tiers.

What are the Breeze agents?

Customer Agent

An AI support rep grounded in your knowledge base and CRM. It works across live chat, email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and calling (beta), with handoff rules for anything it cannot resolve. HubSpot reports it already resolves 65% of conversations and cuts resolution time by 39% across 8,000+ customers. We build these for clients; the full scope is on our done-for-you Customer Agent build page, and the follow-on customer health agent extends the same plumbing to retention.

Prospecting Agent

An AI SDR inside Sales Hub. It researches contacts, builds selling profiles, and drafts or sends outreach with guardrails (max 3 cold emails per contact per 90 days, 1,000 emails per day per account). Since July 1 it can source net-new contacts through Seamless.AI; we broke that update down in HubSpot Prospecting Agent + Seamless: what it means for outbound.

Data Agent and Studio agents

The Data Agent handles cleanup and formatting chores, and a bench of beta Studio agents (blog research, company research, customer health, deal loss, RFP) can be turned on per use case.

How much does HubSpot Breeze cost?

Breeze itself is not a separate SKU. You pay through HubSpot Credits, per HubSpot's Product and Services Catalog:

ItemCost
Included credits per month500 (Starter), 3,000 (Professional), 5,000 (Enterprise)
Credit packs$10 per 1,000 credits monthly, about $9 per 1,000 on annual commit
Overage$0.010 per credit, billed in 10-credit increments
Customer Agent50 credits ($0.50) per resolved conversation, only on resolution
Prospecting Agent100 credits ($1.00) per lead recommended for outreach

Unused credits do not roll over, and both flagship agents come with a free 28-day trial during which no credits are consumed. If you run out of included credits without a pack, credit-consuming features simply pause until your monthly reset. For what the underlying Hubs cost, see our full HubSpot pricing breakdown.

Do you need Professional or Enterprise?

Mostly yes. The Customer Agent requires Professional or Enterprise of any Hub. The Prospecting Agent is more accessible: Sales Hub Starter, Professional, or Enterprise. Data enrichment works on any Starter+ subscription, and only users with paid seats can consume credits. HubSpot's Warmly acquisition signals more agent-native features landing at the Pro tier over time.

How do you roll out Breeze without wasting credits?

Three rules from the implementations we run. First, start with one agent and a real knowledge base; a Customer Agent grounded in thin content resolves little and still costs setup time. Second, set per-feature credit limits and turn on the 75/85/90/100% usage notifications before you deploy, not after the first surprise invoice. Third, measure resolution rate weekly for the first month and tune guidelines, because the outcome pricing means quality directly controls spend.
