THE PLAY / FOR A B2B DEMAND GENERATION AGENCY AND HUBSPOT SOLUTIONS PARTNER SERVING B2B SAAS TEAMS
Trigger
Enrolls immediately by automation rule when a contact submits a selected form (starter pack, playbook request, AI readiness scorecard or contact form) or views a selected service, contact or pricing guide page, including returning contacts HubSpot already knows.
Audience
Heads of demand generation or growth, founders or CEOs, and RevOps or HubSpot admin leads at B2B SaaS companies who recently requested a free playbook, scorecard or starter pack, or who returned to service or pricing pages more than once.
Signals the agent reads
- Form submitted: starter pack, playbook request, AI readiness scorecard or contact form
- Page viewed: prospecting agent, Breeze agent setup, portal audit, contact or pricing guide pages
- Repeat visits to one service page
- Form answers: agents in use and monthly conversation volume
- Lifecycle stage and open deals (skip the contact if they are a client or have an open deal)
Selling angle
A contact who just asked for a free asset is at the warmest point in the buying journey. A fast reply tied to the exact page or form shows that a senior operator read what they looked at. Each message offers one next step that fits, from a new angle, so the contact sees how the team would build or run the work in their own portal.
Outreach approach
The play runs five touches, two days apart. The first answers the page or form the contact used, and each later touch offers a new asset, names one thing to fix or build first, or shares one proof point from the site. The last touch gives an easy yes or no. The play stops when the contact replies, books a call, unsubscribes, bounces or reaches five emails.
- 01 / DAY 1Answer the page or formNames the exact page or form used and one detail from the answers, then links the single most relevant free asset and asks for a 30-minute strategy call.
- 02 / DAY 3Offer the next fitting assetPoints to a different free asset or service page that fits what the contact looked at, framed from a new angle, with one question.
- 03 / DAY 5Name one thing to fix firstNames one concrete item the contact could fix or build first in their portal, such as a stalled agent setup or an unused feature, and asks if they want a quick review.
- 04 / DAY 7Share one proof pointShares one proof point taken from the site, with one line on why it matters to a team in their position, and asks a single question.
- 05 / DAY 9Easy yes or no closeA short, clear close that asks for a yes or no on a 30-minute strategy call, with a self-serve way to pick a time.
Advanced instructions (excerpt)
You write for [Company], a team of senior operators who design, build and run AI agents, AI-powered builds and growth programs for B2B SaaS teams. The reader just showed interest in one specific asset or page. Sound like a senior operator talking to a peer: confident, plain, generous and never pushy. SUBJECT LINE: Keep subjects under 50 characters, plain text, no emoji, no exclamation marks, and no fake Re: prefixes. Use the name of the asset or page they touched. On follow-ups, reply in the same thread and keep the original subject. FIRST TOUCH: Name the page or form in the first sentence, then one specific detail from the page or the form answers. Keep it to 120 to 180 words, short paragraphs, one link with descriptive anchor words, and one question. Never include pricing, discounts, guarantees or statistics that are not on the site. CHECK THE RELATIONSHIP FIRST: Read the contact record. If the company has an open deal, a closed-won deal, a client lifecycle stage or a recent meeting, write nothing. If an earlier conversation went quiet, acknowledge it in one line. If the record holds only this visit, write a first approach with no invented history. If unsure, do not write. THE ASK: Propose two named weekdays and a 30-minute strategy conversation, and offer a self-serve option with anchor text such as grab a time that works.

SUBJECT Your starter pack
Hi [First name], Thanks for requesting the starter pack. You mentioned [agents] and about [volume] conversations a month, which is a good size to get a Breeze agent working in weeks instead of quarters. In most portals, the slow part is not the switch. It is the knowledge base, the handoff rules and the context the agent reads before it answers. We can show you where your setup would stall before anything goes live. Would a 30-minute strategy conversation on Tuesday or Thursday help? You can grab a time that works on our contact page. Thanks,
Guardrails
- Never write a price, discount, guarantee or statistic that is not published on the site.
- Never mention commissions, partner deals or internal processes.
- If a reply asks about price, scope or a contract, stop and hand off to a person.
- Security, compliance, data-handling, complaint, unsubscribe or legal messages stop the play and go to a person.
- Never use em dashes or long dashes, and never write a bare URL.
- Never write following up, circling back or just checking in.
Setup in HubSpot
- Create an automated enrollment rule with two triggers: form submitted (selected forms only) and page viewed (selected service, contact and pricing guide pages), including returning known contacts.
- Add exclusions for active clients, contacts with open or closed-won deals, unsubscribed contacts and contacts already in a live conversation.
- Set the play to Adaptive and to Send without review so messages go out automatically.
- Set the sender to a named client services lead, with replies routed to a person within one business day.
- Restrict sending to Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central time.
KPIs
- Strategy conversations booked from this play each month, measured against enrolled contacts.
- Reply rate across the five touches, watched by touch number to see which angle lands.
- Share of replies handed to a person within one business day, to confirm the handoff holds.

Good questions.
Straight answers.
Why does this play send first and enroll fast?
These contacts raised their hand moments ago, so a reply tied to the page or form they used is the highest-intent moment the team has. Immediate enrollment keeps the reply close to the visit.
What happens if a contact is already a client?
The exclusion rules stop enrollment for clients and open or closed-won deals. The agent checks the record before writing and sends nothing if the relationship is already active.
Why only five emails at two-day intervals?
Five touches keep a fast hand-raise short and specific. Each touch adds a new angle and stops when the contact replies, books a call, unsubscribes or bounces.
