HubSpot Breeze Implementation Cost in 2026

What HubSpot Breeze costs to implement, cost layers illustration

A HubSpot Breeze implementation has three cost layers: the HubSpot license you need to unlock the agents (Professional or Enterprise on any Hub), usage priced per outcome (50 credits, about $0.50, per resolved support conversation and 100 credits, about $1, per recommended lead), and the setup work that determines whether the agents actually perform. The software side is cheap to start. Both flagship agents come with a free 28 day trial, and since April 14, 2026 you only pay when an agent completes its task. The layer that decides your real budget is the third one, and it is the one nobody prices on a website.

How much does HubSpot Breeze cost to run?

Breeze Customer Agent and Breeze Prospecting Agent require a Professional or Enterprise subscription on any one Hub, not Service Hub specifically. From there, usage is billed in HubSpot Credits, which run about $10 per 1,000 credits at list (closer to $9 on an annual commitment). Every paid plan includes a starting credit allowance, and heavier usage is bought in credit blocks.

What does outcome-based pricing mean for your budget?

Before April 2026, the Customer Agent billed $1.00 per conversation whether or not it resolved anything, and the Prospecting Agent charged a recurring monthly fee per enrolled contact. The switch to outcome pricing moved the risk to HubSpot: a conversation the agent escalates to a human costs you zero, and a contact the Prospecting Agent researches but never recommends costs you zero.

For budgeting, that means your spend scales with results, not activity. A support team resolving 1,000 conversations a month through the agent spends about $500 at list. A prospecting motion surfacing 300 recommended leads spends about $300. The number to model is not traffic or database size, it is expected resolutions and recommendations. That is also why the quality of setup matters so much: a poorly grounded agent that resolves little costs little, but it also delivers nothing.

What does a Breeze implementation actually involve?

HubSpot markets the Customer Agent as live in about 15 minutes, and mechanically that is true. A production rollout is a different job. The work that separates a demo from an agent you can trust in front of customers looks like this:

AI context and settings. Brand voice, ICP, personas, and product catalog entered into HubSpot's AI settings so every agent draws on the same foundation. Knowledge grounding. Auditing the knowledge base, site pages, and files the Customer Agent will answer from, and closing the gaps it will otherwise hallucinate around. Guidelines and handoff. Writing the instructions that control tone and scope, and designing when the agent escalates to a human. Channel rollout. Deciding which of the 9+ channels go live first. Testing. Running scripted conversations against the agent before customers do, then tuning weekly through the trial.

Most teams run this inside the free 28 day trial window: two to four weeks from kickoff to a go or no-go decision with real resolution data. If you want to gauge readiness before spending anyone's time, start with our AI readiness audit.

DIY or partner: when is paying for help worth it?

If your support content already lives in a well maintained HubSpot knowledge base and you have an admin who knows your portal, DIY is realistic. The trial is free, the pricing only bills on outcomes, and the worst case is a few weeks of learning.

A partner earns their fee in three situations: your knowledge sources are scattered or thin, you need the agent live across multiple channels with clean handoff rules, or the project has to clear an internal ROI bar on a deadline. Productized Breeze builds start around $1,500. For comparison, fully custom agent builds on the Claude stack benchmark at $8,000 to $45,000, which is why we tell most teams to exhaust Breeze first. Our full comparison of the two paths is in Breeze vs. custom Claude agent.

Whichever route you take, the sequencing matters more than the tooling: context first, knowledge second, guidelines third, channels last. Teams that turn the agent on before grounding it burn their trial window generating escalations.

Frequently asked questions

How much does HubSpot Breeze cost per month?

There is no separate Breeze subscription. You need Professional or Enterprise on any Hub, then you pay per outcome in credits: about $0.50 per resolved support conversation and about $1 per recommended lead, with credits at roughly $10 per 1,000.

Is there a free trial for HubSpot Breeze agents?

Yes. Both the Customer Agent and the Prospecting Agent come with a free 28 day trial, long enough to run a full pilot with real resolution data before committing credits.

Do I need Service Hub to use the Breeze Customer Agent?

No. Any one Hub at Professional or Enterprise unlocks it, including Marketing, Sales, Content, Data, or Commerce. Service Hub is simply where knowledge base content usually lives.

How much does it cost to hire a partner for a Breeze implementation?

Productized implementation packages start around $1,500. Fully custom agent builds outside Breeze run $8,000 to $45,000, so confirm Breeze cannot do the job before buying custom.

How long does a HubSpot Breeze implementation take?

The agent can technically be live in 15 minutes. A production rollout with grounded knowledge, guidelines, handoff rules, and testing typically takes two to four weeks, which fits inside the free 28 day trial.
