Apollo's AI GTM System: what is live right now

Apollo announced three products at its ApolloNEXT conference in San Francisco on September 30, 2026: Builder Studio, the Apollo Intelligence Layer, and Apollo Messaging OS. Only the Intelligence Layer is available today. Builder Studio, Email Campaigns, and Ad Audiences are listed as "available soon," with no release dates and no pricing announced.

This was CEO Matt Curl's first major launch since he took over from co-founder Tim Zheng in February 2026, and it reframes Apollo from a contact database with sequences into something closer to an operating system for go-to-market. Here is what actually shipped, what is still a promise, and what it means if you are paying for Apollo or any tool it now overlaps.

What did Apollo announce at ApolloNEXT 2026?

Three product lines, in different states of readiness:

ProductWhat it doesStatus
Builder StudioDescribe a GTM tool in plain English and Apollo builds the page, database, or automation on its own data and infrastructure"Available soon," early beta users only
Intelligence Layer: Intelligence ProfileA continuously updated view of each contact and account, enriched from Apollo data, your CRM, and engagement historyLive now
Intelligence Layer: GTM HarnessAn AI reasoning engine with GTM-specific skills, memory, and governance that recommends accounts, contacts, and next actionsLive now
Messaging OS: Email CampaignsMarketing email sending from inside Apollo, plus a new Bulk Send API built for agents"Available soon"
Messaging OS: Ad AudiencesPushes Apollo lists straight into Google Ads audiences"Available soon"

Sign-ups for the unreleased pieces run through Apollo's beta page. If a feature on this list matters to your 2026 plan, treat it as roadmap, not product.

What is actually live right now?

The Intelligence Layer. That is the honest summary. Intelligence Profiles and the GTM Harness are available in-product today, and they matter most for teams already running AI SDR workflows, because recommendations are only as good as the context engine behind them.

Apollo also shared growth numbers that explain the direction: the company says it passed 5 million users across more than 600,000 companies, that teams using its MCP server grew more than 4x between March and August 2026, and that daily credit consumption rose nearly 10x over the same stretch. Those figures are self-reported, but the shape is clear. Usage is shifting from humans clicking filters to agents burning credits through APIs. Curl's pitch at the keynote: "You no longer need a RevOps army and millions of dollars to build a successful engine."

What does Messaging OS mean for your cold email stack?

Email Campaigns is the quiet land grab. Apollo already owns sequences for many teams. Adding marketing email and a Bulk Send API puts it on a collision course with dedicated senders like Instantly and Smartlead, and Ad Audiences does the same to the list-syncing middleware between your data provider and Google Ads.

It also escalates the platform war. ZoomInfo launched Agent Teams inside GTM Studio the same week, and both companies are chasing the same claim: one system that holds the data, reasons over it, and executes outreach. If you stitch together ZoomInfo or Lusha for data plus a separate sender, the pitch from both sides is now "stop stitching."

Our take: do not rip anything out over an "available soon" slide. Deliverability infrastructure, warmup, and inbox rotation are exactly the parts Apollo has not proven yet, and the first release of any bulk sender is where domains go to die. Keep your sending stack until Email Campaigns ships and someone else burns their domain finding the edges.

Does this change whether Apollo is worth buying?

Not yet, but it changes what you are betting on. As of today Apollo's pricing page lists Free, Basic, Professional, and Custom plans and does not publish per-plan prices, so run your own quote rather than trusting third-party price lists. No new pricing was announced at ApolloNEXT. Two structural things to know before you commit: credits are pooled across the team and granted each billing cycle, and unused credits expire with no rollover, including purchased add-ons. If agents really do drive 10x credit burn, expiring credits are the mechanism that monetizes it, so size your tier to real usage, not optimism.

What should revenue teams do this week?

Three practical moves. First, if you already pay for Apollo, turn on the Intelligence Layer and audit what the GTM Harness recommends against your own account list before you let it act. Second, if you are evaluating, start on the free plan and test Intelligence Profiles against the data you have in your CRM today. Third, write down what you currently pay for data, sequencing, marketing email, and ad syncing as separate line items. That list is your negotiating leverage when consolidated platforms come knocking, whichever side wins.

Frequently asked questions

What is Apollo Builder Studio?

Builder Studio is a natural-language builder announced at ApolloNEXT on September 30, 2026. You describe a GTM tool or workflow and Apollo generates the pages, databases, and automations on its own infrastructure. It is not generally available yet; Apollo lists it as "available soon" with early beta users.

Is the Apollo Intelligence Layer available now?

Yes. The Intelligence Layer, made up of Intelligence Profiles and the GTM Harness, is the one part of the ApolloNEXT announcement that is live today for Apollo users.

Did Apollo announce new pricing at ApolloNEXT 2026?

No. No pricing was announced for Builder Studio, Messaging OS, or the Intelligence Layer. Apollo's pricing page currently lists Free, Basic, Professional, and Custom plans without public per-plan prices.

What is Apollo Messaging OS?

Messaging OS is Apollo's signal-based execution system. It recommends who to contact, when, and on which channel, and includes Email Campaigns with a Bulk Send API plus Ad Audiences for pushing lists to Google Ads. Both components are "available soon," not live.

Who runs Apollo now?

Matt Curl has been Apollo's CEO since February 2026, when he succeeded co-founder Tim Zheng. ApolloNEXT 2026 was his first major product launch as CEO.
